Sometimes we need to collect additional information during the configuration process. This might be something like a color or size or any another attributes that describes the product, or it may be a question that we may ask the user, so we can later use the response by creating rules that guide them to proper configuration. We use Attributes for this purpose.
There are three different ways to collect attributes during configuration.
- Configuration attributes
- In-line attributes
- Global attributes
In the video, we would look at what attributes are, how we set up Configuration attributes, In-line attributes and Global attributes, with specific use cases.
