Activate a Record Page in Salesforce Lightning
To activate a record page in Salesforce Lightning, log in to the Salesforce developer account and follow the steps below.
- On the Home page of Salesforce Lightning, search App Builder in the Quick Find box and click on the same as shown in the picture below.

- In the Lightning App Builder, select the Record Page to activate and click the Edit button in the Action column of that page. I have selected the record page Campaign Record Page to activate.

- Now we can view the record page in the Edit window, and we will click the Activation button to activate it.

- In the Activation window, select the option APP, RECORD TYPE, AND PROFILE and click on the Assign to Apps, Record Types, and Profiles button.

- In this window, we need to assign apps to this custom record page. To do this, activate the checkbox of the applications that require the Custom Record Page. In this case, I have activated this Record Page in the Sales App.

- Now, activate the ‘Master‘ checkbox and click the Next button.

- We must select the Profiles for this Record Page in this window. We can select several profiles according to our requirements. After choosing the profiles from the Profile column, click on the Next button.

- The window that appears will be for review only. Here we can review the assignments and then click on the Save button.

- Till now, we have activated the Custom Record Page. To view this record page, go to the Object Manager and follow the steps ahead.
- In the Object Manager, click on the object for which you have created a Record Page. In this case, I have created a Record Page for the Campaign object.

- In the Campaign object, go to the left sidebar, and there select the option Lightning Record Pages.

- In the Lightning Record Pages, we see the activated record page, Campaign Record Page, under the Label column. Now, click on that lightning record page to open it.

- In the Assignments By App, Record Type, and Profile section, we can see the App and the profiles in which the record page Campaign_Record_Page is now assigned or activated.

In this way, we have successfully activated the Lightning Record Page in Salesforce Lightning.
